Starting a photography business

This is my first stab at writing a blog. Its more of a personal journey about starting a business and the process that I am going through.

Firstly, a little about me. I've been shooting photos since high school, a good two decades ago. I have loved being behind the camera, and taking photos, but in the last year or so, something interesting has happened. I started taking fashion photos for a friend of mine, who wanted to start her own brand as a fashionista. The social media platforms had removed the barriers to entry on so many levels and disrupted so many industries, and the fashion business was ripe for a disruption.

With that said, there was a new phenomenon called influencers that was able to play a below the line advertising role for other fashion houses. As we explored this concept, I starting taking more photos and want to take the next step of turning this into a business.
